With sadness, we share the passing of Janice D. Hellman of Bismarck, North Dakota. Janice, born on September 13, 1941, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Tomek and Eva Tomek (Braun); her former husband Lloyd "Bud" Kost; her husband Everett Hellman; her son-in-law Tom Sheldon; and her siblings, Pat, Tom and Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Sheldon, Laurie Wagner (Jeff) and Mike Kost (Tammy); her stepchildren, Jeri Rathbone-Hellman and Thera Allison Thompson (CJ); her sister Betty Wagner; and her nephew Barry Wagner (Janice). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Washburn Baptist Church (414 5th Ave, Washburn, ND 58577). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
