We bid farewell to Jerry Wurtz of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 4, 2026 at the age of 74. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Wurtz and Dorothy Wurtz (Varloe); his wife Rachel Gjesdal; and his in-laws, Richard Gjesdal and Antonia Gjesdal (Toni).
He is survived by: his children, Heather Keller (Russ), Gary Wurtz (Jess) and Christopher Wurtz (Amanda); his grandchildren, Avery Wurtz, Noah Keller, Breckyn Wurtz, Elise Keller, Greta Keller, Gabriel Wurtz, Camryn Wurtz, Abigail Wurtz and Demry Wurtz; and his siblings, Bonita Kallestad, Willmar, Minn, Beatice Odde of Pollock, S. D., Dorinda Paetz, Richard Wurtz Jr., Roland Wurtz, John Wurtz of Las Vegas, N. V. and David Wurtz. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
