She is survived by: her children, Barbie, Bobby and Barbara Fix (Steve); her great grandchildren, Luke, Aliesha Simons and Sara; her sister Paula Schaefer of Nevada; Robert Simons (Lori Dauenhauer), Warren (Esther), Dakota (Guy Pearson), Shyann, Sierra, Liberty of Dickinson, ND, Michael Woods, Philip (Joyanna), Eric, Jacilyn Elise of Beulah, ND, Ben, Tracie Simons, Abe (Sierra), Mason (Amber), Bobbie, Dannie, Chance, Cooper, Lee, Laynie, Wytnie, Jaymie, Barbie and Jubilie Joan of Medora, ND.. She is also survived by her five great, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Joan to McCabe United Methodist Church, Bismarck, Corpus Christi, Bismarck, New Life Pentecostal Church, Dickinson, or Truth Community Church, Beulah.
