She is survived by: her husband Frank Bavendick; her grandson Greg; her great grandchild Brad; her pet Millie; her children, Kelli Herman (Jeff) and Greg Bavendick (Yvette); her grandson Kyle Herman (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Kira, Kamden Herman, Derrick Hecker (Amanda), Nathan Hecker and Mathew Hecker (Heather); her siblings, Jean Bickler (Leo), Leone Strandemo (Gene) and Wayne Meyer (Rosie); her son Brad; her grandson Tyler Herman (TJ); Hunter, Ryder, Hailie, Carson, Mason and Tyson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She served as a lead donor to the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation's Wild Horse Place Apartments, Bismarck State College's new Athletic Center, and the Dakota Humane Society's new shelter.
