With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Dewitz of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Vernon" Cavan and Virginia Cavan; and her sister Deborah Brown. She is survived by: her husband Loren DeWitz; her children, Laurel Valentine (Ernie) of David City, Nebraska and Jed DeWitz (Shannon) of Claremont, Minnesota; and her grandchildren, Morgen, Jacson, Keetyn, Brittin, Hayden, Gavin, Kyra, Carley and Reagan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eastgate Funeral Service (2330 E Divide Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary's (825 E Broadway Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501).
