She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Hansen and Annie Hansen (Helmers); and her grandson Ben Andrew Johnston. She is survived by: her husband David Fitzgerald; and her children, Brad Fitzgerald (Dawn) of St. John, ND, Nathan Fitzgerald (Elizabeth) of Haxtun, CO, Marlai Johnston (Bob) of Watford City, ND and Patrick Fitzgerald (Jennifer) of Arnegard, ND. She is also survived by grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (1020 Boundary Street Northwestand, Mandan, ND 58554). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (202 Bertelson St, Tolley, ND 58787).
