He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Silbernagel and Juliette Silbernagel (Heisler); and his brothers, A. James Silbernagel and Adam. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Waltos; his daughter Kelly Frenette (Brian); his granddaughter Aurora; his sisters, Rosmary Stelmach (George) and Virginia Feist (Al); and his sister-in-law Nadeane Silbernagel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck, and St. Mary's Central High School, Bismarck.
