She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Taplin and Marjory Taplin of Wilton, ND; her husband John Herman; her brother-in-law Don Hruby; and her nephews, Jaime and Dan Hruby (Roy Barth).
She is survived by: her siblings, Lou Hruby and John Gust; her children, Brenda, John Kalbfleisch and Sandy Herman; her grandchildren, Cody, Kelsi Kalbfleisch, Hunter Kalbfleisch and Jason Cortez; and her great grandchildren, Liam Cortez and Kenna Kalbfleisch.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to local charities supporting community services, reflecting Donna's lifelong commitment to helping others.
