He was predeceased by: his mother Diane Voss Shea (John); his parents-in-law, Rose and John Baumstarck; his siblings-in-law, Mary Baumstarck, John, Allen, Richard Baumstarck and Dennis Hempler; and his nephew Tommy Guilleaume.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baumstarck; his children, Ryan and Chris (Miranda); his grandchildren, Elijah, Liam and Mikaya; his siblings, Sheri Kowal (Dan), Dina Voss of Centennial, CO and Mike (Marcia); and his siblings-in-law, Leona Glatt (Rick), Linda Carmichael (Jamie), Julie Rhoades, Rose Baranyk (Greg), Adam Baumstarck (Joan), Leo Baumstarck and Hilary Baumstarck (Peggy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Joseph (108 3rd St NE, Mandan, ND 58554).
