He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Liudahl and Audrey Liudahl (Thompson); and his daughter Sandra Lynn. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Wayne of Bismarck and Matthew Paul (Tena); his wife Janice; his daughter Sandy (Mike Mundahl) of Mandan; his grandchildren, Avery, Claire and Emmett of Bismarck; his stepson Benjaman (Stephanie); his stepgrandchildren, McKenzie, Marley and Maddux of Kenmare, ND; his stepdaughter Jacky (Courtney Loegering); his stepgrandchildren, Emmy and Brooks of Devils Lake, ND; his grandson Dakota Halverson of Chicago, IL.; and his siblings, Doreen (Harvey Jeffers) of Bismarck and Bruce of Ennis, MT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
