Marvin Borgelt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Borgelt (Bismarck, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Mike" Borgelt and Elizabeth Borgelt; his parents-in-law, Erma and Ernie Beckman; his sister Corrine; his brothers-in-law, Bill Brickman and Wayne Beckman; and his nephew Charles Brickman.
He is survived by: his children, Laura (Brendan), Kate (Bill), Michael (Meagan), Chad, Kelly (Kerrie) and Kris (Rod); his wife Joyce; his sisters, Kay Amoth and Audrey; and his brother-in-law Delbert Bargmann. He is also survived by his six children; 13 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
