He was predeceased by: his parents, John Buckeye and Gladys Buckeye Sr. (Glovich); his parents-in-law, Jacob and Helen Schaible; his sister Judy Hoffman; his siblings-in-law, Don Hoffman, Louella Luer, Leona O'Connel and Viola Ackerman; his son Marvin Donald Buckeye, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Roxanne Buckeye.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Buckeye; his children, Bonnie Dahl (Michael), Michael Buckeye (Janine), David Buckeye of Council Bluffs, IA, Brenda Heger (Russell), Mark Buckeye of Omaha, NE and Vickie Bell (Jimmy) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Melissa Dahl, Joel Dahl, Tony Buckeye (Tracy), Adam Buckeye, Ashley Buckeye, Jessica Buckeye, Brandon Buckeye, Jacob Heger, Blake Heger (Kyleigh), Dylan Heger, Travis Bohl (Ashley) and Spencer Bell (Autumn); and his siblings, John Buckeye Jr. (Nancy) and Dianne Enquist. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
