He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Wangler and Katherine Wangler (Feist); his son Matthias Wangler; and his siblings, Eddie Wangler, Regina Morrell and Rose Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Mary Markel (Prent), Donna Miller (David), Carol Dockter (Tim), Rose Wangler, Tony Wangler, John Wangler (Debbie), Tom Wangler (Vicky) and Jim Wangler (Deanne); and his brother Sam Wangler. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren.
