She is survived by: her children, Cindy Renfrow (Clark) of Mercer, ND, Richard Schmit (Norma), Todd Schmit (Ivan) of Los Angeles, CA and Laura Schmit of Dickinson, ND; her grandchildren, Anna Welle, Angela Wilson, Amanda Blais (Peter), Laura Wilkins (Andrew) and Richard Wm; her great grandchildren, Jameson Welle, Mackenzie Welle, Elizabeth Blais, Anthony Blais, Roslyn Wilkins and Kensington Wilkins; her foster children, Ronald Schaefer (Rhonda) and Nancy Powell; her close friends, JoAnn Becker, Mary Smestad, Deb Stavn and Beverly Aichele; her nephews, Richard Bender and Lowell Wood; and her niece Debbie Olson.
