We are sad to announce that, on September 3, 2025, at the age of 98, Merlin Rudrud (Bismarck, North Dakota), born in Hillsboro, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Merlin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Merlin. Though Merlin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Thompson; and his son Bruce. He is survived by: his sons, John of Bismarck, ND and Paul of Rochester, MN.
