She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Backman and Ruth Backman (Ollenburger); her siblings, Kathleen and Gary; and her sister-in-law Carol Backman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kaye Dalbec (Jim) of Olathe, KS and Janet Garvin; her nephew Steven Dalbec (Nancy); her niece Tammy Bodine (Brad); her great-nephew Brandon; her great-niece Leah; her nephews, Jason Dalbec (Kent James) and Travis Backman (Robyn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Krystal, Derryck and Jordyn; her nephew Mike Backman (Lori); and also, MacKenzie, Jazmynn, Stella and Iroh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Bismarck.
