Norma Jean Gjovik Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Gjovik of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Muller and Philipina Muller (Remboldt); her husband Odd Gjovik; her foster daughter Brenda Hernandez; and her siblings, Norman Muller and Rosie Weispfenning.

She is survived by: her children, Karoline Jacobson (John) of Mayville, ND, John Gjovik (Kelly) of La Palta, MD, Steve Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND and Heather Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND.; her grandchildren, Lisa Eernisse (Travis) of Sioux Falls, SD, Josh Jacobson (Lacey) of Dickinson, ND, Kristopher Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND and Ryan Crummy; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eernisse, Brielle Eerisse, Mason Jacobson and Hannah Jacobson.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (700 24th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
