It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Gjovik of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Muller and Philipina Muller (Remboldt); her husband Odd Gjovik; her foster daughter Brenda Hernandez; and her siblings, Norman Muller and Rosie Weispfenning.

She is survived by: her children, Karoline Jacobson (John) of Mayville, ND, John Gjovik (Kelly) of La Palta, MD, Steve Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND and Heather Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND.; her grandchildren, Lisa Eernisse (Travis) of Sioux Falls, SD, Josh Jacobson (Lacey) of Dickinson, ND, Kristopher Gjovik of Grand Forks, ND and Ryan Crummy; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eernisse, Brielle Eerisse, Mason Jacobson and Hannah Jacobson.
