Norma Traxel Obituary
In loving memory of Norma Traxel (Bismarck, North Dakota), who departed this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Norma leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Zeiszler and Pauline Zeiszler (Schulz); her husband LeRoy; her children, Gene Traxel, Kenneth Traxel and LeAnn Traxel; her daughter-in-law Beverlee DeWaard (Traxel); her grandson Christopher Traxel; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Erna Traxel.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Gegelman (Monte) of Greenfield, WI; her daughter-in-law Peggy Traxel of Lincoln, ND; her sisters, Shirley Riedemann of Hazen, ND and Lucy Erbstoesser (David) of Bismarck, ND; and her sister-in-law LaVerna Scheid (Gary) of Hazen, ND. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (615 E Turnpike Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Beulah City Cemetery.
