Norman Ostboe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Ostboe of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman Ostboe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ostboe and Clara Ostboe (Balliet); his daughter Robin; his brother Gene; his parents-in-law, Otto and Esther Reimers; and his sister-in-law Carol Ranum.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Reimers; his children, Sheri Olson (Don), Jay Ostboe and Randall; his grandchildren, Tracy, Amanda Pfeifle, Ryan (Amina), Matthew (Jess) and Wes Olson (Mersadez); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Amira and Brooklyn; his brother-in-law Michael Ranum (Sandi); and his nephews, Andy and Mark.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Service (2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (502 N 4th St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
He volunteered with the Bismarck Senior Center, the RSVP Plus program, and the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, and as an usher at Trinity Lutheran.
