With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orlene Scherr (Bismarck, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 50. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Darlene Wanstrom and Orlyn Wanstrom; her daughter Miranda Knudson (Ryan); her sisters, Barbara Hoffman (Doug) and Jolene Tognarelli (Anthony); her grandchildren, Macy, Myka and Miley; her siblings' children, Chandal, Amanda, Sondra, Londyn, Charles and Seth; her great-nieces, Ryliegh and Harper; her great-nephew Oakley; and her grandparents, John, Eva Kaiser, Beatrice and Elmer Wanstrom. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (800 N 7th St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
