She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Basaraba and Pearl Basaraba; her father-in-law Charlie Nygaard; her brother-in-law Wilfred Kerzmann (Butch); and her nephew James Kerzmann.

She is survived by: her former husband Dave Anderson; her children, Holly, Daniel, Arianna, Amy (David) and Hannah; her husband Charles Bruce; her grandchildren, Sky, Terrel, Taylor, Lauren, Nikiah, Alaina, Charlee and Remi; her siblings, Jack Basaraba, Sharron Raile (Jim), Sandra Finger (Ed), Diane Kerzmann, Myron Basaraba (Clemma) and Brent Basaraba (Julie); and her uncle Ted Adamyk. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In 2020 she received a bone marrow transplant with a donation from her daughter Arianna.
