He is survived by: his wife Joyce Spitzer (Wahl); his daughters, Brenda Schaefer (Duane) and Pam Schmidt (Jim); his granddaughters, Alexa Mercado (Bill), Kayla Schmidt (David), Kristin Hepfer (Timothy), Erica Todd (Austin) and Katie Shelkey (Chad); his great grandchildren, Lewis and Warren Hepfer; his brothers, John Spitzer and Jeff Spitzer (Robyn); his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Spitzer, Karen Zackula, Sheila Anderson (Mike), Larry Evenson, Gilbert Wahl (Marlene), Wallace Wahl (Gail) and Allan Wahl (Donna); his parents-in-law, Wilbert and Esther Wahl; his daughter Colette Spitzer; his grandchildren, Kaisha Mercado, Benjamin Shelkey and Rebecca Jenkins; his siblings, LaVonne Ulrich, Virginia Evenson and Thomas Spitzer; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Wahl, Robert Ulrich, Max Zackula and Judy Wahl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
