He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Heidt and George Heidt; his in-laws, Robert and Sally Schwede; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Heidt, Marc Schwede, Cindy and Calvin Sylte.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Schwede; his children, Jeff Heidt (Cher) of Fargo, Jenny Heidt of Mandan and Amanda Heidt of Fargo; his grandchildren, McKenna, Ally, Paige and Jacob; and his siblings, Debby Marback (Mike), Tim Heidt and John Heidt (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary (806 E Broadway Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501).
