With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Sturn of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sturn and Minnie Sturn (Schaner); his wife Lillian (Haider); his siblings, Edward, Donald, Charles and Monica; and his son-in-law Jeff Burgess.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Burgess, Pam Doto (Joe) of Henderson, NV, Judy Kursave (Aca), Cindy Binegar (Brad) and Dean Sturn (Rachel); his grandchildren, Nick Burgess, Andrea Toranzo (Caleb), Abby Wellman (Brandon), Ryan Morel (Melanie), Brandon Morel (Liz Buller), Cristin Zayden (Joe), Meagan Thune (Jared), Erica Wescom (Tayler), Brooke Binegar, Jacob, Hunter Sturn and Owen Wescom; Adelyn, Carter, Declan Thune, Mia Zayden and Callahan Toranzo. He is also survived by his children: grandchildren: and great-grandchildren.
