He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Dennis and Anna Dennis (Skurupey); his parents-in-law, Paul and Florence Berger; his siblings, Daniel Dennis, John Dennis, Daryle Dennis, Shannon Dennis and Mary Ellen Dennis; his siblings-in-law, Beth Berger, Dale Schaff, Clayton Hecker, Betty Froehlich, Gene Sayler, Elko Palaniuk and Glenn Ness; and his nephew Dylan Berger.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi; his children, Faylene Darling (Chris), Bobby Dennis (Robin) and Steve Berger (Karly); his grandchildren, Jameson Darling, Daniella Dennis, Jarek Berger (Jenna), Jessa Berger and Joren Berger; and his siblings, Marge Palaniunk, Carol Sayler, Valerie Ness, Patti Hellman (Dennis), Gloria Trauger (Gary), Brien Dennis (Shelley), Jim Dennis (Elaine) and Dave Dennis (Patty). He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eastgate Funeral Service (3117 E Century Ave, Bismarck, ND 58503). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Anne (1321 Braman Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
