It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert DesRoches of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert DesRoches to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee Jr. DesRoches and Marie DesRoches (Lammers); his granddaughter Amber DesRoches; and his siblings, Maurice DesRoches, Grace Davis (Stan), Dolores Boyle (Mike) and Lorraine Stock (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Finstuen of Paul's Catholic Church; his children, John (Pam) DesRoches (Bismack) and Molly May (Tom); his grandchild Bismarck; his daughters, Beverly (Daryl) and Elizabeth (Jim) Deutsch (Bismarck); his grandchildren, Katie (Bismarck), Carolyn (Alex), Shepler (Little) and Steven (Bismarck); his daughter Dr. Barbara (Juan); his granddaughters, Rebekah (Sarah Moscovitch) and Amalia (Virginia); his brother Bernard DesRoches; and his friend Bob Kupper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's name can be given to the Amber DesRoches Memorial Scholarship at NDSU School of Nursing at Sanford in Bismarck (Sanford Health Foundation, PO Box 5525, Bismarck, ND 58501), the Fred C. Wagner American Legion Post (PO Box 982, Rolla, ND, 58367) or the cemetery at St. John the Baptist Church (PO Box 170, St. John, ND, 58369).
