He was predeceased by : his parents, Norris Sando and Roseanne Sando (Thomas). He is survived by : his sons, Todd Shane (Lunette) and Bradley Allen (Terri); his wife Karen Sue Knutson; his grandsons, Bradley, Nicholas and Derek; his siblings, Robert Sando, Linda Goulet, Debra Sando and Karen Walz (DuWayne); and his brother-in-law Ronald Knutson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral and Cremation Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (106 Osage Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501).
