He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Rugland and Ella Rugland (Walhaug); and his sister-in-law Kelly Dewey. He is survived by: his son Lance Rugland (Jenny Hoaby); his wife Maxine Ternes; his son Brian Rugland (Jessica); his grandchildren, Avery and Addie; his brother Roger Rugland (Dodie); and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Wandler (Vern), Kevin Ternes and Bob Dewey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ursday Eastgate Funeral Service (3117 E Century Ave, Bismarck, ND 58503).
