It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Scott E. Erling of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erling and Lois Erling. He is survived by: his wife Terri Bryson; his children, Jacy (Lara), Katie (Jason) and Todd (Rachel); his grandchildren, Kayden, Espen, Tenly, Chevi, Ben and Olivia; his siblings, Greg Erling (Linda), Patti Braun (Richard), Chuck Erling (Tina) and Jon Erling (Kim); and his brother-in-law Robert Bryson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503).
