He is survived by: his wife Tamra (Tami); his brother-in-law Jay McFarland of Bismarck; his siblings, Debra McCulley and Larry Volkert II (Sheri) of Minot; his siblings' children, Joshua Volkert, Adam Volkert (Brittany), Carrie Killeen, Timothy Schoenwald, Matti Martin (Jared) and Shelby McCulley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Callie Volkert, Sophie Volkert, Elliott Martin, Owen Martin and Shelby McCulley Jr.; and his pet Zoey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
