With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresia Neigum (Bismarck, North Dakota), who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Schmidt and Genevieve Schmidt (Goldade); her husband Peter Neigum; her son Jacob; her granddaughter Melanie; her daughter-in-law Connie Neigum; and her siblings, Tony, John, Steve, Andrew, Peter, Eugene Schmidt and Lorraine Kiefer.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Mary A.), Alex (Sandra), Peter, Gary (Kim), Anthony (Amy), Richard (Andrea) and Theresia (Junelle); her daughter-in-law Mary Jo; and her grandchildren, Michael, Ben, Zach Neigum, Sarah Ternes, Amy Fischer, Josh Neigum, Tasha Schacher, Jacob, Joey Neigum, Jennifer Neigum-Stanley, Jessica Dargis, Toby Neigum, Eliza Anukwu, Melissa Roller, Tanya Dick, Michelle Dehne, Alisha Anderson, Vicki, Evan Neigum, River and Canyon Neigum. She is also survived by six sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of the Ascension (1825 S 3rd St, Bismarck, ND 58504). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
