He is survived by: his wife Catherine Schmaltz of Tappen, ND.; his children, Barb Williams (Brian) of Buffalo, SD and Matthew Mitzel (Brianne) of Munich, ND; his sisters, Annie Mitzel of Seattle, WA, Thresea Everding and Fredolena Dreitzler (Ralph) of Kirland, WA; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Brooklyn, Brody, Colton and Asher.
