In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vendela had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Vendela may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Murray and Eliza Murray; her husband Allen MacDonald; and her daughter Jeanette Martin. She is survived by: her children, Kim Shelver, Val Jangula and Michael MacDonald. She is also survived by Her family grew to include nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the McCabe United Methodist Church (1030 N 6th St, Bismarck, ND 58501).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Vendela's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion for others.
