We announce the death of Verlee Snyder of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 92. Verlee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Verlee will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Verlee will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Verlee’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Sevalson and Skarsten; her husband Russell Snyder (Ginger); and her siblings, Doris Berglund (Beuford), Gertie Caya (Bill), Laura Ventsch (Erwin) and Marvin Sevalson (Clarice).
She is survived by: her granddaughter Laurie Hartsoch; her daughters, Kathy Lund (Rod) of Anamoose and Karen Garaas (John) of Williston; and her grandchildren, Renae Ramsey (Jim) of Williston, Amy Bergren (Kyle) of Lake Park, MN and Brock Garaas (Ashley) of Lincoln.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503).
