It is with sadness that the passing of Vernon Veitz of Bismarck, North Dakota is shared. Vernon, born on April 29, 1932, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Veitz and Anna Veitz (Moos); his wife Ardella Bentz; and his siblings, Walter, Clarence, Harlan, Rudy and Ester.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon Sayler (Paul), Sandy Thronson (Myron), Shar Johnson (Jeff), Scott Veitz and Steve Veitz (Jessi); his grandchildren, Jessica Zuroff (Jesse), Sarah Stach (Andy), Tenise Chapman (Weston), Jenna Stelter, Britny Johnson (Derek), Calee Hagen (Brandon) and Kyle Veitz (Mikayla); and his sisters-in-law, Irma Bachman (Arlin), Leona Hauck, Elaine Roth, Dorothy Will, Violet Veitz and Judy Veitz. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
