He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle and Olga. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Consdorf (Rick) of Fargo; his wife Ellen Jacobson of Bismarck; his children, Kari Weigel (Ryan) of Bismarck, Katie Stewart (Nathan) of Bismarck and Tom Jacobson (Alyssa) of Minneapolis; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Sadie, TJ Weigel of Bismarck, Braelyn, Jaedyn, Ashtyn Stewart of Bismarck, Claire, Emmy and Lucy Jacobson of Minneapolis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Bismarck Parkinson's Support Group, PO Box 4174, Bismarck, ND 58502.
