She was predeceased by: her parents, John Novotny and Elizabeth Novotny (Kline); and her siblings, Donald Novotny and Ruth Novotny (Oscar Peterson). She is survived by: her husband Oscar Peterson; and her sons, Jon Peterson of Bottineau and Joel Peterson of New Jersey. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Metigoshe Christian Center.
