He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosgard Johnson and Mary Johnson (Hagen); his wife Mabel Sather of Savior's Lutheran Church; his son Rickie; and his sister Oveda Eman.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron (Carla) of Bottineau, Ken (Toni) of Minot and Scott (Nora) of Bottineau; and his sister Ella Faulkner of Yakima, WA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the Bottineau Fire Department or the Bottineau Park Board.
