He is survived by : his wife Barbara Velo; his daughter Bonnie Nevland (Brooks Hawkins) of Westhope; his grandchildren, Destiny, Dalton, Dayton and Dixon Hawkins; his sister Marilyn Suckut (Gary) of Summerset, SD; his sister-in-law Chris Nevland of Las Animas, CO; his former life partner Barbara Pope (Thayne); and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
