She was predeceased by: her parents, Thor Gronvold and Gena Gronvold (Gunderson); her siblings, Wanda Mattern and Warren Gronvold; her nephew Wayne Mattern; her parents-in-law, Leonard and Marguerite Larson; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Skagen, Chuck Skagen, Gordon Rasmussen and Douglas Larson.
She is survived by: her husband L. Duane Larson of Bottineau; her son Kent Larson (Kristen) of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Sienna, Patrick, Darrick Larson, Jake and Luke Guzman; her son Kirk Larson of Scottsdale, AZ; her grandchildren, Hartman and Hunter Larson; her son Kal Larson (Sarah) of Berthold, ND; her grandchildren, Lauren Larson, Madi Klein, Emma, Eli Brewer and Kaylee Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Ann Rodeman, Mavis Rasmussen and Kenneth Mattern. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (701 Main St, Bottineau, ND 58318). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the First Lutheran Church or an organization of the donor's choosing.
