He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Anton "Tony", Mary Ellen Bauer and Bernice Nygaard. He is survived by : his parents, George Bauer and Violet Bauer (Nygaard); his sisters, Donna Bauer, Bonnie Herman (Ken) and Nancy Bauer; his nephew Shane Herman; his niece Shelby Herman of Billings, MT.; his friend Jeff Geiger; and his daughters, McKena, Allie (Bryce Boughton) and Cher Baggett (Larry Evenson).
In March 2020, just before the pandemic, Dennis was diagnosed with cancer.
