She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lyle Jones (Buster) and Alma Jones; her siblings, Lorna Van (Nevin) of Streek and Lyle Jones (Noi); her stepson Patrick Hynek (Andrea); her grandson Tristan Van (Sara) of Streek; her daughter Hilary Sweeney (Sean); her grandchildren, Claire and Hannah; her great grandchild Henry Van of Streek; her son Van Jones; Lillian Van of Streek, Ellington, Caia, Hadler Sweeney, Tom and Corrie Fish of Rhame. She was also cherished by friends and neighbors.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bowman Lutheran Church (105 7th Ave NW, Bowman, ND 58623). A wake was held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the University of Montana (32 Campus Dr, Missoula, MT 59812).
