He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. "Jack" Freund and Joyce Freund (Sand); and his mother-in-law Theresia Eback. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Barb" Freund (Eback); his children, Kayla Teeple (Paul) of Fargo, ND, Tyler Freund of New Rockford, ND and Britney Schmiesing (Daniel "Dan") of Fargo, ND.; his granddaughter Christine Teeple; his siblings, Patrick "Pat" Freund, Natalie Dickson (Richard), Melissa Westphal (Brad) and Michelle Neumann (Matt); and his father-in-law Bernhard "Benny" Eback. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
