He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Willie" Stewart and Genevieve Stewart (Olson); and his in-laws, Herbert and Maxine Younker. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Younker; his sons, TJ Stewart (Melissa) and Travis Stewart; his grandchildren, Aiden, Isaac, Ian, Ella, Aubrey and Asher; his siblings, Steve Stewart (Sue) and Gayle Varty; and his in-laws, John Younker (Kathy) and Berta Degenstein (Dan).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in his honor.
