He is survived by: his children, Gail (Rick Gruenberg), Rick (Dianne Nechiporenko), Jim (Danna Nechiporenko) and Karla (Jon Fish); his grandchildren, Autumn Johnson (Jerry) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Kristapher Gruenberg, KC Vandemark (Zack) of Velva, Cody Nechiporenko of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Katie Nechiporenko of West Fargo, Jeremy Nechiporenko (Claire) of Phoenix, Arizona, Ben Nechiporenko (Kourtney) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Megan Phillips (Joe) of Menominee Falls Wisconsin and Mandy Paxtian (Raul) of Kalamazoo, Michigan.; his great grandchildren, Madison, Nevaeha, Aria, Jeremiah (Talon), Everlee, Noah, Patrick, Paislee, Stormee, Nathan, Zoe, Charlie, Anna, Ivy, Mila, Jameson, Raul and Luka; and his siblings, Betty Kaplor of Arizona, Calvin Lakoduk of Hawaii and Cliff Lakoduk (Judy) of Bismarck North Dakota.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (413 4th Ave, Butte, ND 58723). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
