He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Ethel Martin (Adams) of Hansboro, ND.; and his brother Gary Martin. He is survived by: his children, Rodney (Karla) of Rancho Mirage, CA, Robert of Rock Lake, ND, Jacqueline of Rock Lake, ND, Kevin (Mary) of Rock Lake, ND and Kimberly of Grafton, ND; his wife Ella Faye of Rock Lake, ND; his daughter Vicky Arvidson (Terry) of St. John, ND; his grandchildren, Misty Burchill, Janie Kramer (Eric), Morgan, Mason Arvidson, Olivia and Emma Martin; his great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Memphis, Clyde and Luke; his siblings, Carrol Mechels (Duane) of Great Falls, MT and Edwin Martin (Bette) of New Brighton, MN; his sister-in-law Doris Martin of Cando, ND; and his mother-in-law Margaret Koistinen of Rock Lake, ND..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rocklake School (38 Forrest St, Rocklake, ND 58365). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Lake Community Center (38 Forrest St, Rocklake, ND 58365).
