She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Oakland and Ragna Oakland (Larson); her siblings, Raymond, Howard Oakland and Edna Mae Oakland; and her parents-in-law, Jacob and Magdalena Peters.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Peters; her children, Steven (Mary Ellen), William (Julie), Carl (Kathy), Paula Wieser (Gregg), Thomas (Amy) and John (Christy); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Rebecca, Erica, Jason, Cody, Amanda, Magdalena, Matthew, Andrew, Madison, McKenzie, Sammy Jo, Morgan and Lexie; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Oakland, Louisa Newberry and Gemma Peters. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (304 3rd Ave W, Bisbee, ND 58317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Bisbee, ND.
