It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin L. Harwood of Cando, North Dakota, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Harwood; his brother Joel; his uncles, Gerald and Doug; and his grandparents, Arnold, Phyllis Clifton, Rose Harwood and Bruce Harwood.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Clifton of Jamestown, ND; his brothers, Curtis of Turtle Lake, ND and Kiley of Wahpeton, ND; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Smith (Ronnie) of Maddock, ND, Debra Fairchild of Grand Forks, ND, Cindy Simon of Fargo, ND, Larry of Lisbon, ND, Robert (Peg) of Carrington, ND, Joe Clifton (Kelly) of Minnewaukan, ND, David (Darlene) of Grand Forks, ND and Donald of Harwood, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dunnigan-DIX Funeral Home (404 4th Ave, Cando, ND 58324). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ceremony Dunnigan-DIX Funeral Home (404 4th Ave, Cando, ND 58324).
