With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Maxine Heisler of Cando, North Dakota, born in Starkweather, North Dakota, who passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Eugene Cissner and Beatrice Mae Sonneborn; her husband Matthew Heisler; and her siblings, Vera and Howard.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kathleen Heard (Kenneth) of Montgomery, AL, Beverley Cose (Ron Gefroh) of Karlsruhe, ND and Connie Medearis (Michael) of Pequot Lakes, MN; her grandson Steven Heard of Daphne, AL; and her daughters, Dawn Cose-LaFountain (James) of Fargo, ND, Lacey Holmen (John) of Voltaire, ND, Kyle Medearis (Emily) of Baker, MT and Kelsi MacLaughlin (Daniel) of Brainerd, MN. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
