It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William E. Steele of Cando, North Dakota, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sr. Steele and LaVonne Steele; and his brother Thomas Steele. He is survived by : his uncle Ed; his former life partner Renae Veum (Rainy); his children, Genia Steele (Tony) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Shane Steele of Minneapolis, MN and Jera Steele of Minot, ND; his siblings, John Steele Jr. (Trudy Haas) of Sun City, Terry Steele of Clyde, TX, David Steele of Cando, ND and Sandra Geiger of Cando, ND; his friend Sheila Kapaun of Cando, ND; and his grandchildren, Gennifer, Seth, Jordyn, Matt, Colby, Morgen, Isiah, Josiah and Jeramiah. He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren along with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
